Frequently asked questions

What type of supplier are you currently looking for?

We are looking for a wide range of suppliers to achieve two goals:

  1. Progress our project design and development activities; and
  2. Build a network of American suppliers.

We are currently seeking subsea steel structure manufacturers, EPC contractors who specialize in onshore construction and port development, and engineering and design firms.

Even if you don’t fit directly into one of these topics, we encourage you to complete the supplier registration form so we can collaborate on future engagements.

What type of suppliers will you need in the future?

We’re excited by the economic, workforce and job creation opportunities that the emerging offshore wind industry brings to local businesses in the US.

In the future we’ll partner with a wide range of businesses, from low to high voltage electrical systems and electricians to office containers and facilities management providers. Offshore wind projects need more than wind turbines and there will be many opportunities to be a part of our supply chain.

What if I’ve never worked with an offshore wind developer?

That’s ok – your business may be capable of supporting offshore wind without even knowing it! Complete our supplier registration form and identify your company’s specialties. Our team is excited to work with you to find your niche within our network to direct you toward contracting opportunities.

What is your current procurement timeline?

We are constantly building our pricing and knowledge base for the upcoming state solicitations for offshore wind with regular issuance of RFIs and RFPs to our list of prequalified suppliers.

We encourage you to complete the supplier registration form so we can engage with you during this process and send procurement opportunities to you and your community.
